Jack is a macOS clipboard history manager. Your data stays on your Mac. We do not collect, transmit, or store your clipboard contents.
Jack stores clipboard items (text, images, links, audio references) locally in a SwiftData database on your Mac. This data never leaves your device.
Jack uses TelemetryDeck for anonymous, privacy-friendly usage analytics. This includes basic app events (launch, feature usage) but never clipboard content. TelemetryDeck does not track individual users or collect personal data.
Jack uses Sentry for crash reporting. Crash reports may include device information and stack traces but never clipboard content.
Jack uses Sparkle to check for updates. This involves periodic requests to our update server to compare version numbers. No personal data is transmitted.
Jack does not integrate with any cloud storage, sync services, or third-party data processors beyond the analytics and crash reporting services described above.
You control how long clips are retained (1 day, 1 week, 1 month, or forever). All data can be deleted at any time through the app.
Jack does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
