Gilt is a macOS clipboard manager built to give you real options — not just a list.
Subscriptions for small utility apps are a touchy subject. A lot of people feel like paying monthly for a clipboard manager is hard to justify. I get it. But I also wanted something that felt genuinely good: not a half-effort side project, not something that clearly has not been touched in years. Something that actually had thought put into it.
The UI around clipboard management has been treated as an afterthought. On Windows you get the built-in grid. On macOS, most apps land in a bottom tray or a vertical list. Both are fine. Neither is the only option, and Gilt is not interested in stopping there.
Gilt started from a simple question: what if the clipboard could actually adapt to what you're doing? Grid when you want to browse. A tray when you want it out of the way. Something more ambient when you just want it nearby. That is the idea. More options, less assumption, and a lot more still to come.
Gilt is made by Novor. If something feels off, or you have an idea, or just want to say something, I genuinely read every message.
